Looking for your next interim opportunity within the Private Rented Sector? A Hertfordshire local authority is looking for a PRS Officer to join their lettings team on an initial 3-month interim contract. You'll be working closely with tenants and landlords across the private rented sector, helping to prevent homelessness and secure appropriate accommodation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing tenancy sustainment support to private sector tenants and landlords
  • Preventing homelessness through early intervention, including rent arrears and benefit-related issues such as Universal Credit
  • Building strong working relationships with private landlords and letting agents
  • Sourcing suitable private rented accommodation to support the discharge of statutory duties
  • Supporting Rent in Advance and Deposit Guarantee schemes, including investigation of deposit claims

What you'll need:

  • Recent experience working within PRS, Lettings or Resettlement
  • Experience using Locata
  • Ability to work 1-2 days per week in the office, with some travel across the borough.
