Park Avenue are working with a Property Consultancy firm in London, who are looking for an Interim Strategic Asset Manager. This role is on a 3 month initial contract, as a paternity cover. This firm works collaboratively with Local Authorities nationwide, providing strategic advice on asset portfolios, projects and development programmes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead multi-disciplinary asset strategy projects for local government clients, from inception through to implementation.
- Provide commercial and financial modelling to support investment decisions, income-generation plans, or estate rationalisation.
- Oversee site-specific, portfolio-wide and thematic asset reviews, disposals strategies, partnership structures, and reuse options (e.g. leisure centres, civic centres, offices, heritage sites).
Additional information:
- Local Authority experience is required - whether you have worked internally at a Local Authority, or on behalf of them.
- MRICS not essential, but you will ideally have extensive Commercial Property experience.
- Full time position - if you require occasional flexibility, this can be arranged.
- Interviews will likely be held w.b 16/06/2025.
- A short handover period would be beneficial, so they are looking for someone to start at the end of June/early July.
