I'm currently supporting a housing provider in Essex that is looking for an experienced Repairs Resolution Manager to join its Housing Repairs service. This is a broad operational management role with responsibility for supporting the wider repairs function, leading the support team and driving strong performance across complaints, correspondence, contractor management and financial monitoring.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and developing a team of support staff
- Ensuring repairs complaints, correspondence and MP/Councillor enquiries are handled within agreed timescales
- Monitoring service KPIs and addressing areas of underperformance
- Reviewing contractor performance and escalating concerns where required
- Producing financial and performance reports
- Supporting the monitoring of responsive repairs budgets
- Overseeing repair orders, invoices and management-system records
- Supporting the recovery of leaseholder and rechargeable repair costs
- Deputising for the senior repairs manager when required
What they’re looking for:
- Strong experience within housing repairs, complaints or property services
- Previous experience managing and developing staff
- Confidence overseeing complex complaints and high-level correspondence
- Experience monitoring contractor and service performance
- Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder-management skills
- A good understanding of housing management systems and landlord repair obligations
- The ability to drive service improvement and maintain high standards of resident care
The role offers hybrid working, with two days in the office most weeks.
