Are you a Planning Validations Officer looking for your next contract? We’ve seen a huge surge in Planning Validation Officer roles, working with a Surrey-based local authority that is looking to bring on more than one officer.
You’ll be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the professional Planning Officers, while taking personal responsibility for validating applications and managing all associated administrative tasks. This includes pre-applications, appeals, and the issuing of decision notices.
If you have experience validating more complex or major applications, you’ll certainly have an advantage. The team works very remotely, so there is flexibility around the working arrangements and given the current workload, it’s extremely likely the contract will roll on throughout the year.
