We're working with a large social housing provider seeking a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to support a busy housing management team through a period of change. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys building strong resident relationships, resolving complex issues, and delivering high-quality housing management services.
The Role
As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you'll be responsible for managing a designated patch of approximately (Apply online only) homes, acting as the key point of contact for residents and ensuring a visible, responsive housing service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with residents across your patch
- Supporting the delivery of a consistent and customer-focused housing management service
- Resolving tenancy, estate, and neighbourhood-related issues
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
- Responding to resident concerns and improving overall customer satisfaction
- Managing a varied caseload while meeting service standards and deadlines
About You
To be considered, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Housing Lead, or similar housing management role
- Strong knowledge of tenancy and neighbourhood management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience delivering excellent customer service to residents
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
