Interim Head of FM & Capital Projects

INTERIM HEAD OF FM & CAPITAL PROJECTS

Park Avenue are pleased to be working with a London Borough who require an Interim Head of Facilities Management & Capital Projects. This is a 12 month contract (likely to be split into 2x 6 month periods).

Your main responsibility is to lead, manage and direct the strategy for the delivery of FM and capital projects across the Council. This includes corporate health and safety (CH&S), emergency planning and business continuity. A key focus is the energy related works and works related to net carbon zero efficiencies through lifecycle repairs and/or upgrades.

You\’ll report into the Director of Finance and manage teams of FM professionals below you.

This council works on a hybrid basis, with you required in the offices 1-2 days per week. Access to a car is recommended; however, public transport is regular and reliable.

The hiring manager has asked for candidates who have experience in leading FM and Capital Projects in a Local Authority setting.
