Park Avenue are working with a well-regarded client in Bedfordshire who are seeking an Estates Team Leader to manage a small, established team.

Contract Details

  • Initial 3-month contract (with potential to extend)
  • £500-£550 per day (Inside IR35)
  • 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

The Role

You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Council's commercial and non-operational property portfolio, identifying opportunities to enhance income and support development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting a team of 7 (including surveyors and support staff)
  • Monitoring portfolio performance and driving value
  • Overseeing a wide range of estates management activities, including valuations, dilapidations, repairs, licences, wayleaves, change of use, assignments, sub-lettings, and ratings
  • Working closely with wider Property Services teams

About You

  • Experience working within a local authority
  • MRICS qualification (preferred)
  • Previous team management experience (preferred)
