Park Avenue are working with a Local Authority in the Southeast that needs a Head of Housing Needs. This is an initial 6-month assignment, with scope to extend and/or transition into a consultancy-based role once the Council recruits permanently (a process you\’ll be involved in)! You\’ll cover a range of areas, including Homelessness Prevention, Rough Sleeping, and Reviews, working closely with a Head of Temporary Accommodation (also under immense pressure). You\’ll also lead on the Council\’s Housing Strategy. In-depth knowledge of Homelessness Legislation and a proven track record of success in a Local Authority role at this level are essential.
