The Role
Park Avenue are currently working with a local authority in the South East who are seeking an experienced Private Sector Housing Manager to lead and shape a newly integrated housing service during a period of significant organisational transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Private Sector Housing Manager to join the leadership team responsible for bringing together two established housing functions, creating a unified service, driving performance, and supporting the transition towards local government reorganisation. You will play a key role in establishing a one-service ethos, embedding best practice, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality private sector housing and regulatory services across the authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Private Sector Housing Team through a period of service integration and change.
- Drive performance management, service improvement, and operational excellence.
- Oversee the delivery of Private Sector Housing functions, including enforcement, compliance, and regulatory activities.
- Provide strategic leadership and operational direction to managers and officers.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
