Are you an Estates Manager considering your next interim opportunity? I'm delighted to be supporting a local authority client in Essex with the appointment of an Interim Estates Manager to join their property team and focus on their community assets portfolio.
Contract Details
- £500-£550 per day (Inside IR35)
- Initial 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension
- Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office
The Role
- Provide expert advice and guidance on estates policies, procedures, and best practice to officers, senior management, and elected members.
- Ensure the council's community property assets are managed in line with professional estates management standards, including health and safety compliance.
- Take ownership of the Asset Management Strategy and Asset Management Plan.
- Oversee key landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, new lettings, and wider portfolio management activities.

- MRICS qualified
- Previous experience managing and developing property teams
- Local authority estates experience is essential
- Available to start within the coming weeks
