We are currently recruiting for an Interim Compliance Data Officer to join a busy housing/property compliance team on a 6-month contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong compliance background who is equally confident managing large volumes of data, reporting, and system reconciliation.
The Role
This position will be split approximately:
- 80% Compliance Data & Systems Administration
- 20% Meeting Coordination & Compliance Support
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance data across the "Big 6" areas remains accurate, consistent, and audit-ready across multiple systems and reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile compliance data across Fire, Water Hygiene, Legionella, and Asbestos programmes
- Review system outputs and ensure consistency across compliance platforms and records
- Maintain and update Excel trackers, reports, and PowerPoint presentations
- Support compliance reporting and data validation activities
- Assist with meeting coordination, agendas, minutes, and action tracking
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate compliance information
- Identify discrepancies and support process improvements across compliance systems
- Support wider compliance functions across statutory programmes
About You
- Previous experience within housing, property, or building compliance
- Strong understanding of compliance areas such as Fire, Legionella, Water Hygiene, or Asbestos
- Excellent data management and administrative skills
- Advanced Excel skills and confident using reporting systems
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and stakeholders
- Experience supporting compliance meetings and reporting processes is desirable
