The Role

  • Leading and driving performance across key housing services, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong resident outcomes.
  • Overseeing repairs, voids, and damp & mould services.
  • Managing and developing operational teams, including a dedicated Voids Manager.
  • Providing leadership across surveyors and wider housing operations teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and regulatory standards.
  • Driving service improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Acting as a key point of escalation for complex issues.

Team Structure

  • 2x Surveyors (Repairs)
  • 2x Surveyors (Voids)
  • Voids Manager reporting directly into you.
  • Oversight of the DLO (Direct Labour Organisation).

About You

  • Proven leader within housing repairs and maintenance who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience in housing repairs, voids, and maintenance services.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Experience working within local authority or social housing environments.
  • A track record of improving performance and service delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Day rate: £500
  • Hybrid working: 3-4 days in the office.
