We are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Manager to join a leading housing organisation in North London on an initial 6-month contract. This is a key role within the Compliance Team, responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and health & safety obligations are met across residential properties and neighbourhoods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage compliance programmes including:
    • Gas Safety
    • Electrical Safety
    • Fire Safety
    • Water Hygiene / Legionella
    • Lifts
    • Asbestos
    • Building Safety
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure service delivery meets KPIs
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and support audit readiness
  • Monitor compliance performance data and drive continuous improvement
  • Support reporting, forecasting, and budget monitoring
  • Build effective relationships with residents, contractors, internal teams, and auditors
  • Manage risk and respond to urgent compliance issues where required

Requirements

  • Proven compliance management experience within housing, property, or asset management
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance and building safety regulations
  • Experience managing contractors and compliance data
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
