Are you an experienced Housing or ASB professional who thrives on resolving complex cases and building positive relationships with residents? This role goes beyond traditional tenancy enforcement, with a strong focus on early intervention, tenancy sustainment, and reducing complaints through proactive resident engagement.
The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload of anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases, ranging from low-level neighbourhood disputes through to more serious and complex ASB matters. A key part of the role is identifying issues early, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies, and ensuring concerns are addressed before they escalate into formal complaints.
- Managing a caseload of low to high-level ASB cases from investigation through to resolution.
- Taking appropriate tenancy enforcement action where required.
- Working proactively with residents to sustain tenancies and prevent repeat issues.
- Acting as the main point of contact for residents, keeping them updated and informed throughout the process.
- Responding to complaints quickly and effectively to minimise escalation.
- Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver successful outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong enforcement experience with excellent customer service skills.
You'll have:
- Experience managing ASB and tenancy enforcement cases within social housing.
- A strong understanding of housing legislation and enforcement tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust whilst having difficult conversations when required.
- Experience working with vulnerable residents and supporting tenancy sustainment.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem solving.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, support agencies, and legal teams.
Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a housing provider that recognises the value of early intervention and resident engagement, not just enforcement.
