We are seeking experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineers to join a high-performing team supporting and developing critical enterprise infrastructure services. This role will involve working across a modern virtualisation and cloud platform, supporting existing production environments while also delivering new infrastructure capabilities through project work.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience across VMware and Broadcom technologies and be comfortable operating within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain existing VMware infrastructure services
- Design, build, and implement new infrastructure services as part of ongoing project delivery
- Administer and optimise virtualisation platforms and associated technologies
- Work collaboratively with internal technical teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to platform improvements, upgrades, and migrations
- Support high availability, resilience, and performance across the environment
- Assist with cloud migration initiatives and hybrid cloud integration where required
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
Candidates should have strong practical experience with several of the following technologies:
- VMware ESXi High Availability (HA) Configuration
- VMware vCenter
- VMware vSAN
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- VMware NSX
- VMware Aria Suite
Experience with Public Cloud migration projects or hybrid cloud environments would be advantageous.
Essential Experience- Proven experience supporting enterprise VMware environments
- Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure support capability
- Experience delivering infrastructure project work
- Ability to work effectively within established technical teams
- Good understanding of virtualisation best practices and enterprise infrastructure operations
- VMware Certified Professional - Data Centre Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
- VMware NSX Certification
- Public Cloud migration experience (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Hybrid cloud infrastructure experience
- Enterprise platform transformation projects
- Automation and infrastructure-as-code exposure
- VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
