Parity is delighted to partner with our client; a public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit an experienced Application & Analytics Manager (Salesforce / Power BI) to take responsibility for the strategy, development and ongoing maintenance of a critical project management application and its associated data analytics capability. The application supports the delivery of a large portfolio of construction projects overseas and is currently hosted on the Salesforce platform. The role will also have responsibility for the development and maintenance of the associated data analytics environment, including integration with Salesforce and reporting and visualisation using Microsoft Power BI/Fabric. This is a hands-on role combining Salesforce application management, data analytics, Power BI/Fabric development and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the GMP application hosted on Salesforce.
- Work closely with the Salesforce Information Asset Owner and wider technical teams to coordinate platform-level dependencies.
- Develop and maintain the future roadmap for the application.
- Implement developments in line with the agreed roadmap and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain and develop the associated data analytics capability.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and the analytics environment.
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI/Fabric semantic models.
- Create and enhance Power BI/Fabric data visualisations, dashboards and reporting.
- Work with Salesforce standard reports and dashboards alongside Power BI/Fabric analytics.
- Coordinate dependencies with the Power BI/Fabric Information Asset Owner and relevant teams.
- Work effectively within a matrix environment.
- Provide knowledge transfer and share technical expertise throughout the engagement.
Essential Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have strong experience across Salesforce and Microsoft Power BI/Fabric, with the ability to work across both application development and data analytics. You should have:
- Certified Salesforce Administrator qualification.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience working with complex data models, security models and business processes.
- Extensive experience working with Salesforce Flows and Lightning Record Pages.
- Experience with Power BI/Fabric Data Flows and API integrations.
- Strong experience developing advanced Power BI Semantic Models.
- Strong experience developing advanced Power BI/Fabric data visualisations.
- Experience working effectively within a matrix environment.
The minimum Security Clearance required for this role is SC.
