Parity Network is recruiting on behalf of a leading global insurer for an experienced Senior Life & Health Portfolio Analytics Actuary to join their Life & Health team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on strategic portfolio analytics and AI initiatives, helping to enhance how Life & Health portfolio performance is monitored, analysed and managed.
You'll collaborate with business stakeholders and Data & Technology teams to deliver data-driven insights that support key business decisions and improve portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of portfolio monitoring and analytics initiatives across the Life & Health business.
- Analyse portfolio performance data, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and Data & Technology teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative analytics solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful implementation of new capabilities.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption of new analytics tools and processes.
- Contribute to agile project delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
- Help improve data quality and support the development of AI-enabled analytics capabilities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified Actuary (Fellow) with membership of a recognised actuarial body, such as the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFo A), Society of Actuaries (SOA), or equivalent
- 8-12+ years' experience within the Life Insurance or Reinsurance sector.
- Strong background in actuarial analytics, portfolio monitoring, reporting or business analysis.
- Experience interpreting complex data and translating insights into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across business and technology teams.
- Experience supporting agile project delivery, including requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to AI, advanced analytics or data-driven transformation initiatives.
- Experience within a global insurer or reinsurer.
- Knowledge of portfolio performance management and actuarial reporting.
