Soft Services Site Lead / Facilities Manager

Paritas is looking for a Soft Services Site Lead to join a well-known client on a project in Erbil, Iraq.
The Soft Services Site Lead will be responsible for overseeing all soft services operations at the site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, security, catering, and other non-technical facility management services. The role requires strong leadership, operational efficiency, and the ability to manage subcontractors and in-house teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management & Operations
- Oversee and manage soft services, including cleaning, catering, security, landscaping, waste management, and hospitality services.
- Ensure service delivery meets contractual SLAs and KPIs.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and manage budgets for soft services, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
Team & Vendor Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, security personnel, catering teams, and other soft service providers.
- Manage third-party vendors, ensuring contract compliance and quality service delivery.
- Train and develop in-house teams, ensuring they adhere to best practices and company standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure that all soft services comply with local regulations and international health and safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Liaise with HSE teams to ensure safe working practices across the site.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the main point of contact for soft services-related issues with clients and senior management.
- Address and resolve service-related complaints or issues promptly.
- Provide regular reports on service performance, improvements, and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in soft services/facilities management
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in oil & gas, construction camps, corporate offices, or commercial real estate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Certifications: IOSH, NEBOSH, or FM-related certifications are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in budget management and vendor negotiation.
- Strong understanding of HSE and compliance regulations.
