Network Engineer – 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days on-site)

Client: Global Consultancy

Rate: Competitive, Inside IR35

Duration: 6 Months

We are working with a global consultancy delivering a critical Network and Infrastructure Rebuild. As part of this, we are looking to engage a Network Engineer with strong experience in configuring and supporting enterprise network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure firewalls, routers, and switches (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper).
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring performance and security.
• Support the implementation of security policies and network segmentation.
• Work in collaboration with the Network Architect to deliver the new design.
• Maintain detailed documentation and change logs in line with ITIL processes.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong experience in hands-on network engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper network devices.
• Understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, VLANs, and firewall policies.
• Experience working in hybrid environments with strong troubleshooting skills.
