Specialising in the trading, algorithmic optimisation, and real-time operation of energy storage and renewable assets, this innovative firm operates across the UK, USA, and Australia and is expanding quickly. With a passionate, mission-driven team of over 100 professionals in energy trading, data science, software engineering, and clean energy management, this is a company with both purpose and momentum.

They are now seeking a Commercial Manager to join their high-impact team — a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on ownership, strategic engagement, and meaningful work from day one.

The Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in converting mid-to-late-stage opportunities into finalised, revenue-generating deals. This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with Legal, Data Science, and other technical teams to shape bespoke commercial agreements.

What you will do….

  • Lead the development, delivery, and negotiation of bespoke commercial proposals to convert advanced opportunities into signed deals.
  • Negotiate and finalise full-form commercial contracts (particularly for battery storage optimisation agreements), working closely with legal counsel and the UK Head of Contract Management.
  • Manage existing client contracts, ensuring performance, compliance, and renewals, while also identifying risks and acting as the bridge between client needs and internal capabilities.
  • Support broader client success efforts, contributing to relationship growth and account development as a trusted commercial partner.

What we need from you…

  • A proven track record in B2B deal closing, particularly where negotiations involve legal and commercial complexity
  • Strong experience navigating full-form commercial contracts and managing ongoing contractual relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to digest technical or complex issues and propose thoughtful, structured solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams
