We are looking for a Runner to be part of our team at The Hoxton, Shoreditch, in our Il Bambini Club. Il Bambini Club — a festive, generous trattoria born in Paris — has opened its doors in London. With live music, bold interiors, and a love for Italian flavours, Bambini is a celebration of food, colour, and joy. We’re hiring a Runner who is passionate about hospitality and brings positive energy to a passionate team.

Job Description

  • Support the front-of-house team throughout service, ensuring food and drinks are delivered to the right tables promptly and efficiently.
  • Help create a memorable guest experience by being attentive, friendly and ready to assist wherever needed.
  • Act as an important link between the kitchen, bar and floor team, communicating clearly and responding quickly to requests.
  • Keep the restaurant organised and service areas clean and well stocked, helping the team maintain a smooth and efficient service.
  • Get to know our menu, products and service standards so you can confidently support the team and answer basic guest questions.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar.
  • You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
  • You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here.
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done.
  • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
  • If we got stuck in a lift together we’d have a good time and share a few laughs.
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.

Additional Information

  • Previous experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
  • You’re energetic, hands-on and enjoy being part of a fast-paced service.
