The Role
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work independently and as part of a larger team.
Some cases will be Partner led.
Others will be led by you, and you will be supported by more junior members of the team.
In all our locations, we are led by Partners with established reputations for dealing with all aspects of family law; including high net worth matrimonial finance and complex private law children matters.
You will be based primarily in Winchester, but you will also enjoy the opportunity to work across the offices, by choice or by client demand.
The quality of our work and clientele requires exceptional levels of client care, case management and creativity, together with mastery of detail and the bigger picture.
This is a challenging role, and one which offers the chance to work on quality cases with the best in their field.
- Coaching, developing and supporting more junior members of the team
- Supporting the supervising Partner with their caseload
- Taking responsibility for managing your own time and work, prioritising and being proactive where appropriate
- Keeping up to date with changes in the law
- Strong communication with team members and other services in the firm
- Recognition and commitment to the importance of meeting time and financial requirements
- Actively engaging with marketing and business development activity
- Working and behaving in a professional manner and to the highest standards of the profession
- The Candidate
- You must have specialised post qualification experience in family law that will include:
- Divorce and separation
- the sharing of high value or complex financial resources following divorce or separation, including trusts, business assets, foreign assets and pensions
- pre and post nuptial agreements
The role will also require the candidate to assist the Partner in their business development activities and experience in this field is desirable.
