£27,000 per year, plus tips. The Role:

We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress/Chef de Rang to join our Front of House team. You will join a team with a real passion for delivering the highest levels of service and creating a fantastic dining experience for our guests. All our Front of House team are expected to ensure guests always leave fully satisfied and that performance targets are achieved, and all will be involved in serving food, taking orders and the upkeep of the restaurant. You will work closely with our sommelier to actively grow your wine knowledge.

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Experienced in working in quality restaurants, ideally with some fine dining experience
  • Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn
  • Keen to progress their career in a quality restaurant environment
  • Due to our rural location your own transport is essential

As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be expected to:

  • Have an active interest in food and wine
  • Have some basic wine knowledge and a desire to learn more
  • Bartending and cocktail making knowledge would also be a benefit
  • Be a clear and concise communicator, fluent in speaking English and confident to speak to guests
  • Have the ability to multi-task
  • Be a team player

Working hours:

Wednesday – closed for service: our development day. Work with the team on our research and development agendas, including training, mentoring, skills development and enhancing menu knowledge. Preparing the restaurant for the week (includes cleaning and setting the Front of House areas). Thursday to Saturday – lunch and dinner service. Sunday – lunch service. Sunday & Wednesday evenings and all day on Mondays and Tuesdays is time off.

Location:

Due to our beautiful rural location in Woburn, Bedfordshire, you will need your own transport. There is no possibility of using public transport due to our location in the deer park.
