We are seeking an experienced Organic Social Media Community Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for building and maintaining vibrant online communities for our two flagship annual events. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging content, fostering community interactions, and driving year-round engagement on our social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement organic social media strategies that align with the overall marketing goals of our annual events.
- Manage and deliver relevant and timely content on LinkedIn, X, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, and Medium.
- Create compelling, high-quality content tailored for each platform to engage participants, attendees, and fans throughout the year.
- Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience comments; manage community interactions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate campaign timelines and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to gauge success and areas for improvement, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with influencers, industry experts, and partners to expand community reach and impact.
- Manage live social media coverage during the events, engaging with attendees and amplifying the event experience.
- Facilitate post-event discussions and maintain momentum between events to ensure ongoing engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices; continuously seek innovative ways to engage our online communities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, community engagement, or a related role.
- A solid understanding of emerging technologies including blockchain and AI.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining active online communities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, and Medium), their best practices, and audience nuances.
- Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and adjust strategies based on analytics.
- Experience with social media management tools.
- Ability to work flexibly and attend both events, potentially during weekends and evenings.
