That level of quality and commitment to excellence is found in everyone who works with us. Under this role, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches, salads and sauces. The ideal candidate will help to achieve our mission to bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to our guests through a warm and welcoming bakery café experience that delivers joy to everyone.
Reports to: Kitchen Manager
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
- Be a team player; assist and support in all areas of the restaurant when needed.
- Make dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
- Ensure sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers.
- Complete various records such as production, usage and waste.
- Order products and materials as necessary.
- Maintain daily par levels and restock station and setup orders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
- Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
- Clean and sanitize the refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
- Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
