About the role… Parico is seeking a talented Platform Engineer to work on dynamic, impactful projects across the Public Sector. You’ll thrive in a small, agile team where you can be truly hands‑on; digging into systems, solving complex technical challenges and shaping innovative solutions for our clients. You’ll contribute to building greenfield services using our infrastructure, developing IaC, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid delivery by our engineering teams. You’ll also drive system change and service improvements, provide high‑level (4th line) technical support, resolve complex incidents and produce clear design documentation to support smooth handover into live operations.
What you’ll be doing…
- Delivering system change and service improvements across the platform.
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation for application and platform deployments.
- Providing 4th line support, including complex incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Deploying, configuring and supporting platform components across Linux, Windows, and virtualised environments.
- Creating and maintaining high‑quality design and operational documentation, supporting early‑life support and handover to live teams.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent experience with IaC, automation and DevOps practices.
- Solid technical background in Linux, Windows, and core infrastructure services (database, proxy, auth, monitoring, patching).
- Proficient with Git and modern version‑control workflows.
- Experience with virtualisation platforms and understanding of architecture design principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle high‑complexity incidents and produce clear documentation.
