DevOps Engineer

Parico is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to work on exciting and dynamic projects who prosper against the challenge of working closely with a small business to solve complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape. You will have the freedoms to be truly innovative, get stuck into the detail of systems, and generally do what it takes to achieve incredible technical solutions to our customer’s complex problems.

You will be part of a team developing greenfield services for our clients, using cloud services and on‐premise infrastructure while developing Continuous Integration pipelines with different tools and technologies to enable our Software and Infrastructure engineers to rapidly develop, test and push out products to production.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementation of infrastructure to ensure successful delivery of industry‐leading solutions
• Developing tools and services for DevOps environments (CI/CD, monitoring, security, configuration, cloud automation)
• Introducing methods to test, observe and alert on applications and services
• Building and maintaining the overall security integrity of both cloud and internal environments
• Working with the development team and other areas of the business to establish where DevOps practices can save time and money

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Experience of DevOps environments, scripting and automation (Infrastructure as Code) — Terraform and Ansible
• Experience working with at least one cloud platform (building, deploying, configuring services)
• Experience with Docker and containerisation (Kubernetes advantageous)
• CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins or GitHub Actions) — building and administering pipelines
• Solid Linux command line skills (administration, package management, bash scripting)
