The Retail Logistics Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations for premium fragrance brands. This position focuses on order processing, stock management, POSM dispatch, retailer coordination, and launch execution, supporting the supply chain from warehouse to retail doors. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Logistics & Order Management
- Process and manage B2B orders for all key retailers and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage booking slots for retailers, particularly during month-end peaks.
- Place and track boutique orders and staff discounted orders.
- Coordinate with warehouse and 3PL partners to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.
- Monitor and manage RGAs (Return Goods Authorisations) and RTVs where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and stock movements.
- Inventory & Stock Control
- Conduct stock cover reviews for Harrods, Selfridges, and Harvey Nichols; flag high/low stock positions.
- Review and update retailer distribution lists and delivery addresses.
- POSM & Launch Coordination
- Monthly chasing, monitoring, and dispatching POSM for consultant doors (PDM & INITIO).
- Handle all ad hoc POSM send-outs (Advent Calendars, Marketing Activations, Incentives, PR).
- Online & Retail Support
- Review retailer websites for OOS SKUs and update on-order status.
- Liaise with internal teams and retailers to ensure accurate product listings and stock availability.
PROFILE & COMPETENCIES
- ~1–3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or retail operations (preferably in beauty/fragrance).
- ~ Strong knowledge of order processing, booking slots, and inventory control.
- ~ Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- ~ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- ~ Excellent communication skills for liaising with retailers, warehouse partners, and internal teams.
- ~ Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- ~ Proactive problem solver with strong follow-through.
- ~ Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
