The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimising day-to-day logistics and operational activities across the business, ensuring the efficient movement of stock from warehouse to retail and online partners. The role owns order management, inventory control, retailer coordination, and launch logistics, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Logistics & Operations Management
    • Own and manage all B2B order processing across key retail partners, ensuring accuracy, timely dispatch, and OTIF (on-time, in-full) performance.
    • Lead retailer delivery booking-slot management, proactively planning around peak trading periods and month-end activity.
    • Oversee boutique, wholesale, internal, and staff-discounted orders, ensuring appropriate controls, visibility, and governance.
    • Act as the senior operational point of contact for warehouses and 3PL partners, managing performance, resolving escalations, and driving service improvements.
    • Own the management and approval of RGAs (Return Goods Authorisations), RTVs, and stock reconciliations.
    • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and audit trails for shipments, deliveries, returns, and stock movements.
  • Inventory & Stock Control
    • Own inventory visibility and stock integrity across all sales channels, with a particular focus on key retail partners.
    • Lead stock-cover and sell-through reviews for major retailers (e.g. Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols), proactively flagging commercial risks and opportunities.
    • Maintain and govern retailer distribution lists, delivery addresses, and replenishment data.
    • Support demand forecasting and supply-planning activities in close collaboration with commercial and retail teams.
  • POSM, Launch & Retail Execution (Strategic Oversight)
    • Provide top-line operational oversight of POSM planning, coordination, and distribution strategies across all consultant doors (e.g. PDM & INITIO).
    • Maintain high-level visibility over monthly POSM tracking and retail readiness, ensuring timelines, priorities, and standards are met.
    • Oversee the operational approach for ad-hoc POSM and marketing requirements, including launch campaigns, advent calendars, incentives, events, and PR activations.
    • Ensure robust operational frameworks are in place to support the seamless execution of new product launches across retail and wholesale partners.
  • Online & Omnichannel Operations
    • Oversee monitoring of retailer websites to track out-of-stock SKUs, launch availability, and on-order status.
    • Partner closely with digital, commercial, and retail teams to ensure accurate product listings, stock visibility, and availability across online platforms.
    • Act as a senior escalation point and problem-solver for omnichannel operational issues.
  • Process Improvement & Leadership
    • Identify, design, and implement improvements across logistics processes, order flows, inventory management, and reporting.
    • Develop and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and operational dashboards to improve transparency, performance, and scalability.
    • Line-manage, coach, or support junior logistics team members as required.
    • Contribute to cross-functional operational and commercial projects, supporting business growth and change initiatives.

PROFILE & COMPETENCIES

  • 4–6+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management (beauty, fragrance, or luxury retail preferred).
  • Strong experience managing B2B order operations, inventory control, and warehouse / 3PL relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, time-critical operations in a retail environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • High-level capability in Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence presenting operational insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
