The Boutique Manager is responsible for the full leadership, performance, and operational management of the UK boutique. This role owns the delivery of an exceptional, luxury customer experience while driving commercial success, profitability, and brand excellence for PARFUMS de MARLY. As the leader of the boutique, the Boutique Manager sets the strategic direction, develops a high-performing team, and ensures all operational, financial, and brand standards are consistently achieved. This role is accountable for business growth, client development, and positioning the boutique as a key destination within the luxury fragrance market.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Business & Commercial Leadership
- Own and deliver all sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals for the boutique.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, client acquisition, and retention.
- Analyse business performance, identifying trends and implementing actions to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Drive brand awareness through local partnerships, events, and external networking initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing boutique team, creating a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Recruit, train, and retain talent, ensuring succession planning and long-term team development.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews, coaching, and development plans.
- Act as the primary ambassador of brand values, ensuring team alignment and engagement.
- Customer Experience Ownership
- Champion and embed a world-class, luxury customer experience, ensuring consistency across all client touchpoints.

- Oversee and approve cash handling, banking, and financial controls with full accountability for accuracy.
- Ensure operational efficiency and seamless day-to-day running of the boutique.
- Training & Brand Excellence
- Lead all product, brand, and service training within the boutique, ensuring expertise across the team.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the luxury fragrance market, competitors, and industry trends.
- Ensure the boutique consistently reflects brand image, guidelines, and visual standards at the highest level.
- Stakeholder & Reporting Responsibility
- Act as the key point of contact between the boutique and senior management.
- Deliver regular business reporting, insights, and strategic updates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and head office teams.
PROFILE & COMPETENCIES
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in luxury retail, ideally within beauty or fragrance.
- Proven experience managing a boutique/store with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership track record with the ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with experience driving sales growth and business performance.
- Advanced clienteling skills with a strong focus on luxury customer experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and take strategic action.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
