Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT support or help desk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Azure, and common business applications
- Good understanding of hardware, networking, and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and approachable manner
- Well organised, able to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- A full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience with software development or willingness to learn AI coding is desirable
- Experience delivering IT training is desirable
- Knowledge of legal sector software is desirable
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are desirable
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, manning the help desk and responding to support requests promptly and professionally
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating where necessary
- Log, track, and prioritise tickets to ensure timely resolution and clear communication with users
- Provide friendly, patient support to users of all technical abilities
- Assist with the development, testing, and maintenance of in-house software and bespoke applications
- Support the rollout of new systems and contribute to ongoing improvements
- Develop AI agents, with training provided
- Deliver training to staff on software, systems, and IT best practice, both one-to-one and in groups
- Produce clear guidance and documentation to help users get the most from available technology
- Install, configure, and commission new hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, phones, and peripherals
- Set up user accounts and ensure equipment is correctly maintained and secure
- Assist with infrastructure projects and office moves as required
- Travel regularly between offices across the South East of England to provide on-site support
