Senior Program Specialist – Events & Meetings

Overview
The Senior Program Specialist’s role is to create exciting and engaging meetings, both in‑person and virtually, working with all key players including clinical trial sponsors and internal Parexel colleagues such as Scientific Writers, Editorial Specialists and the Meeting Logistics Team to bring together all elements of our meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design an engaging meeting by developing a creative agenda with engagement tactics, key presentations, relevant supporting materials, selecting technology solutions and managing suppliers/vendors.
- Collaborate with clinical trial sponsors, Scientific Writers, Editorial Specialists and Meeting Logistics Team to coordinate all meeting elements.
- Maintain a high level of organization, working to deadlines and managing overall project plans.
- Overall budget and financial management for meetings.
- Exceptional client service management, including leading client calls.
- Build a positive, results‑oriented work environment, fostering partnerships and teamwork.
Requirements
- Excellent administrative skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Client‑focused approach with a professional business manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload with attention to detail.
- Flexible attitude towards work assignments and learning new skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
