This role will work within our successful Medcom division, which is an innovative group that provides medical communication solutions across the entire product development lifecycle. This role can be fully home-based anywhere in the UK. It will be a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until the end of Dec 2026 with the possibility of a further extension.
We are seeking an experienced Meetings, Events & Engagements (ME&E) Ecosystem Consultant for one of our large pharmaceutical sponsors to support the Solution Owner in designing, structuring, and delivering a scalable, compliant, and future-ready ME&E ecosystem. This is a strategic delivery and design partnership role, where you will provide structured analysis, process design, and cross-functional coordination to drive transformation across global, above-country, and affiliate levels.
In the role, your focus will be on software integration into Cvent and optimizing the platform's capabilities to support the unified ME&E ecosystem. As a key member of the delivery team, you will work across Meetings, Events & Engagements, Consultancy, Grants, Sponsorships, and Donations, ensuring alignment across business, compliance, and technology domains while supporting the Solution Owner's decision-making authority.

- Matrix Leadership & Delivery Enablement
- Ecosystem architecture spanning ME&E, Consultancy, and Grants
- Standardised global process blueprints and integration frameworks (PEGA, Cvent, Veeva, Salesforce)
- Compliance-to-system translation with defined guardrails for cross-border, pharmacovigilance, legal, and finance functions
- Prioritisation frameworks balancing compliance, business value, and dependencies
- Migration and change management strategies for legacy system transition
- Governance models and collaboration frameworks enabling cross-functional delivery
- Continuous improvement and innovation pipelines
- Strategic thinker with experience in large-scale ecosystem design and transformation
- Skilled in process analysis, design, and cross-functional coordination
- Software integration experience with event management platforms, particularly Cvent
- Ability to assess and design system integration architecture between Cvent and enterprise platforms
- Business process flow design expertise for events operations
- Background in enterprise event/meetings management
- Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory, and governance frameworks
- Experienced in managing complex stakeholder environments and matrix organisations
- Proficient with enterprise platforms (PEGA, Salesforce, CRM systems, event management tools)
- Excellent communicator able to translate business and compliance requirements into system design
- Comfortable operating in a support role without direct decision-making authority
- Proven track record in delivering healthcare or life sciences technology initiatives
