Overview

As an experienced Biostatistician at Parexel, you lead research design and analytical strategies, contribute to protocols, and develop and review statistical analysis plans and reports. You will oversee quality control of statistical deliverables and serve as the functional lead for study teams. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and coaching to deliver robust results for global clients. You’ll work in a patient-centered, collaborative environment that aims to advance new therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, advise and review statistical work; develop complex analysis strategies using SAS and R
  • Foster teamwork by performing intricate analyses and contributing to statistical reports
  • Provide input to analysis plans and statistical sections of integrated clinical reports
  • Act as proactive advisor across the project lifecycle, from proposals to delivery
  • Review data sets and quality-control statistical deliverables
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
  • Coordinate with other departments and external clients to optimize efficiency and manage scope, timelines, and budget
  • Represent Parexel at client meetings and contribute to successful project outcomes

Key requirements

  • 4+ years of industry or directly relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of statistical aspects of clinical trials and/or observational studies
  • Experience in statistical analysis in clinically related subjects within clinical trials
  • SAS programming or R programming skills (desired)
