Overview
As a Project Manager in Parexel's Early Phase Unit in Harrow, you will lead clinical trial programs by aligning sponsor needs with operational delivery.
You drive timely, on-budget, high-quality execution and foster strong sponsor relationships.
You will oversee start-up, risk planning, and vendor coordination, while ensuring compliance and efficient documentation.
This role offers hands-on impact in a patient-focused, collaborative environment that shapes early-phase development.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for Early Phase clinical trials or programs
- Own sponsor relationship and ensure proactive communication with sponsors and internal groups
- Ensure operational excellence and successful execution of clinical operations and logistics
- Manage study start-up, site selection, submissions, contracts, budgets, and vendor setup
- Identify risks, implement contingency plans, and keep clients informed
- Lead closeout procedures, archive documentation, and capture lessons learned
- Oversee financial aspects including revenue recognition, milestones, and invoices
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, contracts, system requirements and metrics
- Oversee PM Assistants to maintain project plans and regulatory files
- Key requirements
- Experienced Project Manager/Associate Project Manager or equivalent
- Experience as a Functional Team Leader in clinical/data management/logistics or coordinating trials
- Excellent presentation and speaking skills (business development desirable)
- Budget/Contract experience desirable
- Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP and pharmaceutical regulations
- Proficiency with MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
