The BANK Study Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in the recruitment and enrollment of volunteers and patients for clinical research studies. This position is responsible for managing all inquiries from potential study participants, ensuring they are pre-screened and scheduled for screening appointments in accordance with study protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). The role requires excellent communication skills, a professional approach to customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is a zero hours contract.
Key Accountabilities
- Respond to all new inquiries and complete new registrations.
- Achieve set turn-up rates for volunteer and patient screening bookings.
- Fill study cohorts as per scheduled timelines.
Volunteer and Patient Communication
- Attach relevant and approved documentation within all communication to participants invited for screening appointments.
- Inform subjects about study participation details, including study course, dates, accommodation, and expense allowance.
Recruitment Planning
- Prepare advertising, Site Initiation Visits (SIV), and Site Selection Trials (SST) recruitment plans as requested by sponsors.
- Co-manage study advertisement budgets and support media channel selection.
Recruitment Metrics
- Track advertising, email blasts, and text messages for healthy volunteers and patients.
- Communicate admission status to line managers and project managers, indicating risks where applicable.
- Provide regular updates and statistical metrics to stakeholders.
EPCU Recruitment Website
- Maintain and update the London EPCU recruitment website with active studies.
Quality Control and Compliance
- Support SOPs, GCP, and work processes to ensure efficient and compliant clinical operations.
- Participate in audits and provide feasibility feedback for new studies.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with recruitment team members to maximize recruitment potential.
- Participate in team project meetings and provide updates for assigned studies.
