Regional Account Manager – Soft Services
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager – Soft Services to join Pareto and take responsibility for the delivery of services across our Gymshark portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in partnership with one of the UK’s most exciting and recognisable brands, leading the operational delivery of soft services across multiple Gymshark locations and ensuring consistently high standards across the portfolio.
This is a varied, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for people, client relationships, service delivery, compliance and commercial performance. You’ll lead and support Account Managers and operational teams across the region, while building a strong relationship with the Gymshark client team and ensuring each location receives an excellent and consistent service.
We’re particularly interested in people with a strong background in soft services, ideally cleaning or specialist cleaning, who are comfortable managing multiple locations, dispersed teams and a high-profile client relationship.
What you'll be doing
You’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of your portfolio, acting as a senior point of contact for Gymshark while providing leadership and support to your operational teams.
You’ll be visible across the sites you manage, building relationships, understanding what is happening operationally and identifying opportunities to continually improve the service.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Managing the operational and financial performance of the portfolio, including budgets and P&L
-
Building a strong partnership with Gymshark and ensuring contractual requirements and service standards are consistently achieved
-
Leading, supporting and developing Account Managers and operational teams across multiple locations
-
Providing guidance on recruitment, absence, performance, payroll queries and employee relations
-
Ensuring appropriate holiday and sickness cover is in place to maintain uninterrupted service delivery
-
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, leavers and other people processes
-
Carrying out regular site visits and monthly audits, agreeing actions and driving improvements
-
Ensuring teams have the equipment, uniforms and consumables required to deliver an excellent service
-
Coordinating planned maintenance activities and specialist subcontractors where required
-
Managing purchase orders, client POs, recharges and information required for monthly invoicing
-
Monitoring outstanding invoices and supporting the management of aged debt
-
Ensuring compliance documentation, including RAMS, SSOW and COSHH information, remains accurate and up to date
-
Supporting Health & Safety across the portfolio, including toolbox talks, training and appropriate reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses
-
Supporting the mobilisation of new services and locations, including TUPE consultation and integration of incoming teams
-
Coordinating vehicles, equipment, maintenance and PAT requirements
-
Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and the overall client experience
What we're looking for
You’ll already have experience managing operational services and people within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Experience within soft services is important for this position, with cleaning or specialist cleaning experience particularly desirable. Experience managing services across multiple sites or locations would be a significant advantage.
You’ll also need:
-
IOSH qualification as a minimum
-
Good practical knowledge of workplace Health & Safety
-
Experience managing and developing operational teams
-
Strong client and stakeholder management skills
-
Commercial awareness, ideally including budgets, P&L, POs and invoicing
-
Confidence managing multiple sites, priorities and operational requirements simultaneously
-
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
-
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
-
A practical, flexible approach and willingness to be visible across your portfolio
Experience of contract mobilisation and TUPE would also be beneficial.
About you
You’ll be someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships and enjoys being close to the operation. You’ll know how to balance the needs of the client and your teams with the commercial requirements of the contract.
Just as importantly, you’ll be a visible and supportive leader. Whether you’re meeting with the Gymshark team, helping an Account Manager resolve an operational challenge, reviewing standards on site or supporting a new mobilisation, you’ll be comfortable adapting to what the situation requires.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile portfolio, work closely with an exciting and prestigious client brand, and play an important role in shaping the quality of the service we deliver.
If you have experience managing multi-site soft services and enjoy combining operational leadership with client and commercial responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.
