About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting a portfolio of sites across Greater London and the South East.
This is a mobile role working across a mix of commercial offices and residential properties, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across electrical and associated building services.
You’ll take ownership of your sites and workload while being supported by the wider engineering and operational team. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys variety, working across different environments and building strong relationships with clients.
What You’ll Be Doing

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical systems and equipment.

Attend reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.

Undertake electrical fault finding and remedial works.

Carry out minor electrical installations and associated works where required.

Support the maintenance of wider building services systems as appropriate.

Identify defects and additional works, escalating or reporting these where necessary.

Complete all maintenance records, job updates and reports accurately.

Use CAFM and other company systems to manage jobs and provide updates.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations, procedures and statutory requirements.

Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach when working on client sites.

Work effectively both independently and alongside the wider engineering team.

Participate in the 1-in-8 call-out rota, with a £200 standby payment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a strong electrical maintenance background, ideally gained within facilities management, building services or commercial property.
You’ll need:

NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline, or equivalent

Apprenticeship-trained electrical background or equivalent experience

Around 5 years' relevant electrical maintenance experience

Experience of both PPM and reactive maintenance

Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Good understanding of electrical systems within commercial buildings

Awareness of ACOP L8 / Legionella control

Confidence using IT systems including CAFM, email and electronic reporting

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Ability to work independently across multiple sites

Full UK driving licence
Call-Out
The role participates in an engineering call-out rota of approximately 1 week in every 8 weeks.
A £200 standby payment is paid for the call-out week, in addition to the standard package.
