A hands-on electrical lead role where you own the site, not just the task list. We're looking for a strong electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer ready to step into a Site Lead position β someone who takes pride in running a site properly, keeps standards high, and leads by example on the tools. This role sits at the heart of the contract. You'll be the go-to engineer on site, supporting the Contract Manager, ensuring plant and systems run safely and efficiently, and making sure compliance, documentation and day-to-day maintenance are always under control.
If you're organised, calm under pressure, confident working independently, and the type of engineer others naturally look to for guidance β this is your kind of role.
As Site Lead Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring the client's assets remain safe, compliant and fully operational. You'll balance technical delivery with site responsibility β overseeing standards, monitoring subcontractors, maintaining records, and acting as a key point of contact for site operations.
You will:
- Support the Contract Manager in the day-to-day running of the site
- Take ownership of plant performance, compliance, and maintenance quality
- Work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Respond confidently to breakdowns, alarms and emergency situations
