About the Role: Achieving performance metrics, whilst driving continuous improvement, delivering the expected results for a sales team within the SME market. Lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients. Introduce energy and motivate your team to embed a culture of high performance and service excellence. The role holder will support in defining & creating new strategies within the segment, aligned to the Commercial strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily running of operations of a Team, including effective resource planning, setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency and quality.
- Drive sales performance & colleague coaching whilst remaining a collaborative team player across the wider sales teams.
- Structure control of sales funnel at an individual level including pipeline management.
- Be accountable for individual/team learning & development needs through the route to excellence learning framework across the organization.
- Leverage personal and professional brand across the wider firm, externally with our partners as we strive to make a difference to the clients & communities we support & represent.
- Demonstrate competence to leverage and use the sales tools & technology across the business to help drive client acquisition via the team.
- Undertake and manage team/department recruitment as required.
- Meet challenging quality measures in line with governance and compliance standards.
- Establish and develop a culture of high performance and motivation.
- Provide insight and make recommendations to shape the strategy, including lead source analysis and dialer operation.
- Work independently, and with the Head of Acquiring Telephony, and the wider SME function to determine, develop and implement business strategies to grow market share within the UK SME segment.
Qualifications:
- Sales leadership with a proven track record within the B2B market place.
- Working knowledge of the payments eco-system & industry.
- Effective communications & influencing skills.
- Understanding of telephony based sales strategies.
- Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
