Market Activation Associate – Deliveroo
Deliveroo is expanding its Yorkshire and North East team and is looking for Market Activation Associates with a strong commercial mindset and an autonomous, field‑based working style.
Base Pay
- ÂŁ27k basic salary, with OTE up to ÂŁ40k and potential beyond in year one
- Full‑time employment, including pension and Employee Assistance Programme
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective restaurant and store partners, pitch Deliveroo’s value proposition and close partner deals.
- Conduct on‑site visits, email, call and social outreach to demonstrate Deliveroo’s offering and maintain front‑of‑mind engagement.
- Build a personal brand and reputation within the target city as a restaurant‑industry expert, developing trust and a referral network.
- Oversee the restaurant onboarding process, ensuring quick, efficient and seamless activation.
- Support Account Managers to guarantee partner success during the post‑signing period.
- Assist guerrilla marketing initiatives (e.g. “Painting the Town Teal” and Customer Door Drops).
Qualifications
- Ideally a degree level education.
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and influencing skills; capable of structuring mutually beneficial deals for Restaurant Partners and Deliveroo.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Expert articulation of product and industry knowledge to prospects and clients.
- Independent, proactive and comfortable in a target‑driven environment.
- Ambitious and determined.
- Beneficial: Fluency in another language (e.g. Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi).
