Market Activation Associate – Deliveroo
Pareto, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
Base pay: ÂŁ27k basic, with OTE taking your total package up to ÂŁ40k in your first year.
Sector: FMCG / Tech. Location: Yorkshire/North East.
Deliveroo\’s most mature market globally, our regional teams drive performance across the UK & Ireland. We are looking to add Market Activation Associates to our team of specialists across Yorkshire and the North East.
Role
- Map prospective partners, pitch Deliveroo\’s unique value proposition, and close business—finding and signing restaurants and stores consumers love.
- Through on-site visits, emailing, calling and social channels, demonstrate Deliveroo\’s offering and keep it top of mind.
- Build a personal brand and identity within your target city as the restaurant industry expert—building trust and a referral network.
- Oversee the restaurant onboarding process, ensuring it is quick, efficient and seamless.
- Support Account Managers to ensure partner success during the period post-signing.
- Support guerrilla marketing initiatives, e.g., \”Painting the Town Teal\” and Customer Door Drops.
Requirements
- Ideally educated to degree level.
- Confident, with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle.
- Excellent product and industry knowledge to articulate to prospects and clients.
- Capable of working independently, proactively, and comfortable in a target-driven environment.
- Ambitious and determined.
- Beneficial: Fluency in another language (Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi).
