Our client is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist to drive the day-to-day execution of their marketing plans, serving as the operational engine of the department.
This hands-on role combines digital execution including PPC, SEO coordination, email, and social media with tactical campaign delivery and event coordination.
The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Head of Marketing, ensuring operational continuity and comprehensive department coverage.
Candidate Profile
Our client is looking for an individual who possesses
- A minimum of 3–5 years of broad marketing experience, with a heavy emphasis on digital execution, content creation, and campaign coordination.
- Confident communication skills with a professional phone manner for discovery calls, alongside excellent written skills for drafting social posts and email campaigns.
- Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to produce eye-catching digital graphics (desired but not essential).
- A highly organised and reliable approach, with the capability to manage daily social schedules alongside administrative tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, paired with good CRM and analytical skills to maintain accurate lead records and build insightful weekly reports (Hub Spot experience is highly desired).
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working with external stakeholders and willing to travel to support live trade shows.
- A results-driven motivation with an eagerness to meet outreach targets.
- A proactive, mature mindset and the confidence to manage daily operations and make tactical decisions in the Head of Marketing's absence.
- A background or interest in rainwater harvesting, water treatment, or B2B environments, which would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will
- Implement and manage a schedule of strategic email marketing and paid advertising (PPC) campaigns, tracking performance for lead generation.
- Research companies and key decision-making contacts to identify potential B2B customers in key sectors such as agriculture, wastewater, construction, and events, as well as exploring new sectors.
- Manage the inbound lead pipeline by tracking all outreach activity in the CRM, coordinating with sales for lead transfers, and nurturing customers to maximise conversion rates whilst maintaining database cleanliness for targeted campaigns.
- Write and edit high-quality copy for all marketing collateral, technical product applications, and website landing pages.
- Act as the internal "super-user" for the website, handling routine front-end updates, uploading new products, and optimising on-page SEO.
- Serve as the primary internal liaison for external digital agencies, providing them with content assets and monitoring day-to-day deliverables.
- Take hands-on responsibility for the communication of industry events and trade shows, working closely with the Sales team.
- Create and schedule daily social media posts in line with the marketing strategy, including basic design and creation of graphics.
- Monitor and compile regular analytics reports on digital traffic, email engagement, and competitor activity to feed back to the Head of Marketing.
- Manage and own the marketing mailing list to ensure full GDPR compliance.
