We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient sales professional to drive all aspects of our product and service sales within the Middle East & Asia export territory. This is a key role for an autonomous individual committed to achieving sales targets, developing markets, and supporting our agent network.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve planned sales budgets through confident selling, accurate quoting, order booking, and forecasting.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities using the company CRM and effective sales techniques.
- Administer, plan, support, motivate, and manage local agents and distributors.
- Apply product expertise to conduct detailed needs analysis, present features and benefits, and close sales effectively.
- Implement and provide insights for marketing campaigns, trade shows, and overall strategy within the geographical area.
- Ensure all sales activity and administration comply with ISO 9000 procedures and provide timely reporting to the Head of Sales.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated self-starter, initiator, and highly organized motivator.
- Assertive, stress-resistant, and personally responsible for achieving goals.
- Outgoing, confident personality with an open, positive, and flexible attitude, communicating efficiently and effectively.
- Comfortable with frequent international travel, approximately 1 week per month (averaging 12 weeks away from home annually).
- Preferable: Up to two years of proven experience in outside sales and customer support, ideally selling capital process equipment. Experience managing and appointing agents/distributors is highly valued.
- Preferable: An engineering degree and/or a practical technical background with experience in production processes.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of another foreign language relevant to the Middle East & Asia territory is a strong advantage.
- Possesses the 'will to sell,' a positive outlook, and a strong ability to recover quickly from rejection.
- Excellent questioning, listening, and rapport-building skills to empathize with customers and effectively drive commitment.
