Pareto FM is seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead a site-based cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and service delivery are consistently achieved. You will supervise daily operations, support team development, and maintain strong working relationships with both internal teams and client representatives. This role requires a hands-on leader who is confident managing people while also supporting operational cleaning duties when required. A key part of the role is maintaining high standards, improving service quality, and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the onsite cleaning team, ensuring all duties are completed to specification and schedule.
- Carry out cleaning duties where required to support service delivery.
- Monitor team performance and ensure consistent quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet contract requirements and agreed timescales.
- Report operational issues, dropped shifts, or changes in hours to the Helpdesk for system updates.
- Request stock replenishment and ensure cleaning cupboards are fully supplied at all times.
- Communicate any operational issues that require escalation or attention.
- Maintain safe systems of work and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Ensure equipment, materials, and products are correctly used, maintained, and stored.
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure PPE is worn at all times.
- Support continuous improvement of cleaning standards and service delivery.
- Respond to reasonable requests from the company or client in a timely manner.
- Use initiative to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Communicate unresolved cleaning or service issues clearly to management.
- Maintain accurate communication with the Helpdesk, Site Manager, and client representatives.
- Support compliance with site procedures and operational requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
