We're looking for a skilled and reliable Emergency Lighting Engineer to join our growing team, delivering services across the prestigious Workspace portfolio throughout London. This is a mobile role where you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding of emergency lighting systems across a varied portfolio of commercial properties. You'll play a key role in ensuring our clients remain compliant while delivering a professional, high-quality service. What You'll Be Doing
- Emergency Lighting Maintenance & Testing
- Install, maintain and repair emergency lighting systems in accordance with current regulations and British Standards.
- Carry out routine testing, inspections and planned preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and undertake effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Complete accurate service reports and compliance documentation following each visit.
- Customer Service
- Build positive working relationships with clients and on-site teams across the Workspace portfolio.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at every visit.
- Communicate clearly regarding findings, recommendations and completed works.
- Represent Pareto professionally whilst working across client sites.
- Health & Safety
- Work in accordance with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Ensure safe systems of work are always followed.
- Maintain company tools and equipment to a high standard.
- Promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
What We're Looking For
- Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Level 2 Electrical Installations (City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
- Level 3 Electrical Installations (City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with emergency lighting systems.
- Experience installing and working with containment systems, including tray, trunking and conduit.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Desirable Qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).

Call-Out Rota
This role includes participation in a 1-in-4 on-call rota following induction. Engineers receive a £100 standby allowance for each week on call, with additional payments for any call-outs attended.
Team & Support
You’ll be joining an experienced team of five engineers dedicated to the Workspace contract, reporting directly to the Account Manager. Your schedule will be coordinated by a dedicated Helpdesk Team, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding service. The team stays closely connected through weekly meetings and an active WhatsApp group, providing ongoing support, technical advice and effective communication throughout the working week.
