We are seeking a Finance Lead to report directly to the Account Director for one of our key clients. This role involves managing budgets, delivering accurate financial reporting, overseeing invoicing processes, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to provide actionable insights that drive business performance.

With a focus on ensuring the smooth running of all financial operations associated with this client, the role is ideal for someone with solid finance experience looking to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports ensuring compliance with company processes and policies.
    • Monitor and manage financial performance, highlighting variances and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, meeting internal and external deadlines.
    • Credit control management of this client ensuring timely payment is made by client.
  2. Leadership and Business Partnering:
    • Act as the main finance contact for this Client for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of financial data and implications.
    • Collaborate with Account Director to develop and implement financial strategies.
  3. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers.
    • Support negotiations and decision-making with data-driven financial insights.
  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  5. Ad hoc tasks: as and when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
