Position: Flexible Area Supervisor
Supporting Regional and Account Managers in the delivery of allocated PFM or PSS.
This role involves providing support services on client sites, including:
- Assisting with holiday and sickness cover to ensure smooth operation of contracts;
- Conducting site spot checks for equipment, uniforms, and consumables;
- Reporting delivery issues or service shortcomings to the Regional and Account Manager;
- Assisting with monthly site audits and providing feedback to clients and staff;
- Supporting staff with understanding the site Bible folder content;
- Advising on updates to site documentation such as RAMS, SSOW, COSHH sheets;
- Monitoring Health and Safety, including toolbox talks, training, and inductions;
- Reporting accidents, incidents, or near misses per Pareto procedures;
- Advising on portable appliance testing;
- Monitoring Smart task usage and supporting team booking procedures;
- Performing any other reasonable management requests.
Knowledge and Experience
Previous supervisory experience in multi-site environments, good time management, and computer literacy are essential. A driving license is required. Experience with cleaning machines like buffers and scrubber dryers is beneficial.
Vocational and Technical Skills
- IOSH certification (minimum requirement)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Relevant NVQ in FM
Experience
Experience in soft services, ideally cleaning including specialist cleaning, preferably within FM.
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with clients and visitors at all levels.
