We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multiskilled Engineer with a strong fabric background to work on-site carrying out planned and reactive works. The role focuses on carpentry, brickwork, paving, and general building maintenance, with multi-trade skills required to support site operations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repair work across the site
- Undertake a wide range of fabric work including but not limited to carpentry, bricklaying, blockwork, general building repairs, paving, slab laying, groundworks
- Support minor painting and decorating tasks as required
- Assist with plumbing or mechanical tasks
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in line with specifications and site procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment
- Comply with all health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements
- Accurately complete job reports, permits, and documentation
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, stakeholders, and other trades as required
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, display initiative, communication and professionalism while working in a team
- Some understanding of the built environment, with the ability to respond to requests promptly and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and legislation and ability to work within these
- Excellent customer service and polite manner, acting with integrity and professionalism while representing both Pareto and ZSL on site at all times
- Keen to learn and develop new skills within self and others in the team
