Pareto.AI is collaborating with leading AI research teams on Project Moldavite, an expert-led AI training initiative focused on improving how models generate institutional-quality financial analysis in Excel and PowerPoint.
Finance professionals on this project contribute real-world models and presentations that help AI systems learn accurate financial reasoning, valuation logic, and professional presentation standards across multiple finance domains.
- Create completed financial models and analyses reflecting real workflows used in investment banking, corporate finance, equity research, private equity, credit, and real estate finance.
- Build and refine Excel-based models, including DCF, comparable company analysis, LBO, portfolio analysis, and underwriting models.
- Prepare professional PowerPoint deliverables, such as investment committee decks, valuation summaries, and management-level presentations.
- Apply workflows commonly used across IB, M&A, PE, VC, Corp Dev, FP&A, Credit/FIG, Wealth Management, and Real Estate Finance.
- Produce paired completed outputs and structured inputs used to evaluate AI financial reasoning and presentation quality.
Professional experience in one or more of the following:
- Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance, Valuation, Sell-Side
- Equity Research
- Private Equity, Venture Capital, Growth Equity
- Corporate Development or Strategy
- Credit Analysis, FIG, Regulatory Capital, or Risk
Strong financial modeling and analytical background.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
Fully flexible schedule.
Expected contribution: 10+ hours per week.
Initial engagement of 4 weeks, with potential extension for high performers.
Submission-based compensation, depending on complexity:
- $150 per approved elementary submission
- $200 per approved intermediate submission
- $275 per approved advanced submission
